Investing in Real Estate For the First Time

I have been there, wanting to invest in real estate but not knowing exactly where to begin.

Most people are busy and don’t have the time required to learn the ins and outs of real estate, to purchase an investment property and self-manage, or even research and hire an adept Property Manager.  So they end up giving up the idea of investing in real estate and assume that their only option is to continue to invest in the stock market.

I knew I had to gain exposure to real estate, not only to diversify my portfolio but obtain the tax benefits and healthy returns that no other investment can offer.  It ended up taking me more time than it should.   I started the hard way, buying single-family homes.  Nothing wrong with that.  If you have done this, please, pat yourself in the back; at least you took action and are one step closer to financial freedom.

But what if I told you that you have other options?  Yes, besides investing in REITs, which don’t give you all the benefits of investing in real estate.   You can invest in real estate and reap the benefits without the hassle via apartment building syndications.

Meet the apartment building syndication model: the alliance or partnership between individuals or businesses to combine their skills, resources, and capital to purchase and operate a property that otherwise would be impossible to acquire on their own.

Our mission at the Formica Investment Group (FIG) – To work closely with investors to acquire profitable multifamily apartment buildings in stable and growing markets as a more robust and profitable alternative to the stock market, while improving the experience for our residents.

We leverage our experience and network in the industry to find and analyze countless deals before pinpointing the one that meets our criteria to deliver stable returns to our investors.  Our passive investors get to invest “passively,” thereby freeing their time from dealing with the operational burdens than come with property management.
